Do You Have The Courage To Stand Up For You?
(Part One of Three)
How many times have you said or thought, I wish I could do that. Do you really wish you could pack your desk, tell your boss goodbye and quit your job today? I know people that buy cars with cash. They drive off the car lot as the owner of a brand new vehicle – no loan. Wish you could do that?
What is it about some people? They get what they want? They get to live the high life, while others are stuck working a j-o-b and living just-over-broke. Want to know how they do it? Want to start building a better life for yourself? Here it is….
My study of high life people tells me they possess qualities others long after. They own the quality while others allow it to own them. Here’s the first of three qualities.
Fearlessness – High life people never talk themselves out of doing something. It doesn’t matter how silly it sounds or how stupid their friends say it is. They envision it, then they go about doing it. For them it’s that simple. From the outside it looks that simple. However, peeling back the layers will show you so much more. Peeling back the layers shows you scrap paper with old notes of ideas that didn’t work. Ideas that had to be sharpened and sharpened again, into the idea that finally became the success. You see how many times they were turned down for a loan. You see just how low their rock bottom was before they made it big.
JK Rowling, Harry Potter’s famous author was a single mother on welfare going to school with the vision for a novel. Now, let’s break this down, because so many of you are single moms that swear you don’t have another minute for anything else. JK was newly divorced with a three-month old daughter and no job. The apartment she lived in didn’t have heat. So between the baby crying, feeding the baby, nursing baby, changing the baby and searching for warm cafes in the bitter winter – she found time to put pen to paper and bring her dream to life. Now, what was that you said? Stop playing, you can make it happen!
Question: What fierce fearless steps do you need to take towards living your dream? Share your answer on Facebook and Twitter.
