This episode is all about the kids! Dr Jim Thorne is not only an acclaimed Astronomical Engineer, but also a world renowned guitarist. He released two CDs of children’s music to help them learn and love science.

The songs on both CDs teach children about the planets through the experiences of two young space explorers, Tommy and Laura who follow in the footsteps of the bold Apollo moon program and go on to visit many other interesting places in space. Dr Jim’s music has been used in many elementary schools to inspire young thinkers with the science and history of human and robotic space exploration. It has even been used to impact the hearts and minds of autistic children in Smithsonian educational space programs.
