The Three Relationships You Will Never Be Happy Without
The Three Relationships You Will Never Be Happy Without
Think you’ve had the best relationship of your life? Think your spouse, pet or BFF can compete with these three? Think again. Relationships are one of the foundations of our society. People get jobs because of who they know, they get into exclusive events because of who they are with and they get away with certain actions because of their associations. At one time relationships were formed and maintained through in-person interactions. Now, strongly influenced by social media, relationships are maintained electronically. Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Periscope, Blab and on and on. People are now more known by their posts, than by their presence. But there are three relationships that still must be nurtured through one-on-one time alone. That is the relationships you maintain with the Father (God), the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit. Your thoughts?
Being in relationship with the Holy Trinity (Catholic), the Godhead (Protestant) – connects you to unconditional love, power and a consistent continuum of guidance on the right path for your life. People tend to think that if they are connected to God, they should not experience any harm. But being connected to God doesn’t set you above and apart, experiencing life. Yes I know many of you feel like sin was not your fault, that it was Adam and Eve’s, but you’re here. Born into sin, straight, no-chaser……period.
Be of good cheer, being connected to God teaches you how he uses the hurt, harm, shame and guilt of your trials and troubles to turn you away from sin and bend you toward him. God uses your bad experiences to mutate you into being more like Jesus every day. So know this, no matter how bloody the battle, proven and tested, you will come forth as pure gold.
