Free Range Parenting is a new term for an old way to parent. Could you walk home from school? Would you let your kids walk to the corner store? Do your kids currently take the subway alone? In 2014 and 2015, children in Maryland were picked up by local police and their parents were investigated by CPS. Why? The parents allowed the kids to walk home from a neighborhood park. The experience was traumatic, not just for the kids but also for the adults. Were Danielle Meitiv and her children scarred by the events? Have they emotionally healed? How have the events changed their lives forever and why is she standing up for Montgomery County again by now running for Montgomery County Council?
Danielle and I would love to hear your comments, questions and thoughts. Be sure to leave us your feedback below.
