Get up, get out and make friends! A recent study said the biggest emotional issue facing Americans today is loneliness. But how can that be? Because of Facebook, Facetime and global gaming, we are more connected than ever. Let me ask you, do you have a circle of friends you can depend on for any need? Everyone needs somewhere to lean in times of trouble. Cynthia Peterson, Director of the DMV GLOW Branch joins me on That Anita Live to discuss the importance of sister circles and a local DC, Maryland, Virginia Expo planned to help women follow their entrepreneurial dreams.
Genuine motivation, encouragement and connection can be hard to come by, especially in a transient area. Can you name at least three people you can count on in good times and bad, to lean on to laugh with or to just be accepted? Host: Anita Washington, That Anita Live
